1. Tell us a little about where you are from and what you are currently doing.
Hello, I'm from Liverpool, England where I have lived all my life And lived in various parts of the city over the years and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Liverpool is close to my soul.
I'm presently working full time but work a shift pattern that's 4 on 4 off so I'm lucky to have plenty of time to do the more pleasurable things in life
2. What inspired you to start playing and making music?
I have always enjoyed messing around with musical instruments but never really done anything serious until my mates started to form a band an opportunity presented itself when they needed a bass player, so I was in and that's when my musical journey started. I didn't know anything about musical theory (and still don't ) so after a few weeks of practicing and learning the songs my first gig was upon me In The Cavern Club (rebuilt version ) on Liverpool's famous Mathew Street. On it went from there
𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?
The first bands I can remember really liking and following was The Jam, The Police, and The Specials then I started to enjoy Pink Floyd, Genesis, and also Marillion then into The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, And the whole Manchester scene around the late 80`s early 90`s and then onto the whole rave scene which strongly influences what I'm doing now.
4. What are your goals in the music industry?
My main goal is to just enjoy tinkering around and making some decent tracks that myself and others can enjoy
5. Tell us about your creative process when you make new music.
I don't have a set process as such, but mostly I will tinker around in Ableton until something catches my attention, this could be instant, or sometimes I could keep dipping in and out of something. Then once I think I've got something I will get my Midi keyboard and launchpad out and take it from there.
6. What is your all-time favorite song?
I honestly couldn't pick just one, I could quite easily spend an eternity trying to convince myself of reasons why to pick one track over another
7. What is the best advice you have either given or received in terms of music?
My proudest accomplishment in my latest music production phase is when I logged into my Tuncore account and saw that I had been paid 1 pence from Spotify, That made my day to realise somebody had listened to my tracks and I'd actually got paid Hahaha.
8. Proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment in my latest music production phase is when I logged into my Tuncore account and saw that I had been paid 1 pence from Spotify, That made my day to realise somebody had listened to my tracks and I'd actually got paid Hahaha.
9. Just for fun! What's been your most embarrassing moment so far?
I honestly couldn't share them moments and relive it all over again. That would be a weird mild version of self-punishment so I flatly refuse to divulge my past inner turmoils
𝟭0. Tell us about your lowest and highest points in music so far.
In my present journey of the latest musical production, I'd say I haven't really had any low points as such as I tend to not take things too seriously and treat my projects as a pastime and a way to unwind and relax. As for my high point, i will go back to seeing 1 penny in my TuneCore account, Thanks
