1. Tell us a little about where you are from and what you are currently doing.

I am from Cyprus but have lived in Greece for 10 years where I studied medicine and worked as a doctor. A few months ago I moved to Sweden and am currently studying Swedish wishing I will work here as a Psychiatry resident soon. Apart from studying Swedish, I write music, read books, and plan on releasing some guitar covers soon.

2. What inspired you to start playing and making music?

When I was young I listened to music a lot and often dreamed of being able to sing my own songs one day like my idols. I started classical guitar and music theory lessons and soon I was writing lyrics. As years passed I continued writing and playing the guitar but I wanted more. So I approached a local producer called Papazó and we started making my songs come to life. I owe him so much.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

Leonard Cohen, Lana Del Rey, Florence and the Machine, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Barrie-James O'Neill

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

I want to be able to produce my own songs and release them. My dream is to have my music pressed on vinyl. Also, I'd like to perform live.

5. Tell us about your creative process when you make new music.

Usually, I start with writing lyrics and when I feel that the song is done I start playing with melodies until a song is formed. Then I play it on the guitar and adjust the lyrics if necessary.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

I have many favorite songs but I'm not sure I have A favorite. One of them is Eclipse by Pink Floyd. The Dark Side of the Moon is my favorite album, I love how the songs flow and everything is connected. Eclipse is the final track of the album and the lyrics are mesmerizing.

7. What is the best advice you have either given or received in terms of music?

I received this advice from a producer I worked with. He said, don't follow the "traditional" label path just because that's what you should do. Follow your creative process and ideas and don't let any label influence how your music is going to be.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

My EP How it Feels to Know. These songs are very personal to me and the process of recording them was very emotional. When the title track was done and I listened to it for the first time I cried. And seeing that people are listening to it and relate to it makes me so proud.

9. Just for fun! What's been your most embarrassing moment so far?

I tend to ask stupid questions in various situations especially when I am stressed or feel pressured. So I have embarrassed myself many times. One example is when I went to a video club and the owner was suggesting a movie which was a trilogy I think and I asked him if the second movie is newer than the first movie.

𝟭0. Tell us about your lowest and highest points in music so far.

The lowest is not being able to write music which went on for many months.

The highest is definitely the release of my EP and the first live show I did in Athens in 2021 along with some great songwriters who I thank for that opportunity.

It seemed it could be another guitar-voice song, but you got me! It became a sophisticated arrangement and crescendo!

I wish you the best, for the rest, the lyrics hit hard!
