𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?
I'm from Israel, but I always feel the need to mention that my parents are from Romania, because I'm strongly influenced by their culture. My main hobby (apart from making music, which is more than a hobby) is working out and being active. I love everything that makes you push yourself to the next level.
𝟮. How did your get into music?
I grew up around music, my mom was a musician, and I was singing from a young age. Later I went to a music oriented high school and was exposed to Jazz and Classical music. I guess I always knew I wanted to be a singer. I got recruited to the army when I was 18 but I never stopped craving for music. during my service I realized I loved to do other things as well, like writing and producing. So when I finished my service I knew I wanted to move to New York and explore all of it.
𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?
At the age of 12 I discovered Taylor Swift and Ed Sheehan, with them I discovered the passion for writing songs. I think they are amazing in that area. Beyonce has always been a goddess for me, and more recently I'm very influenced by Khelani Tate Mcrae and more.
4. What are your goals in the music industry?
I want to be able to keep releasing songs and to be heard by people who feel related to the things I'm writing. Right now I'm taking it one song at time, but would love to have an EP in the future.
5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?
Anywhere in New York is good for me haha but the bigger the better, I love a big audience! It's been a rough year since I wasn't able to perform at all during Covid, but hopefully now things will change for the better.
6. What is your all-time favorite song?
Love Of My Life preformed by Queen with the mesh up of More Than Words. Can it count as one song? I think they were meant to be together. It's from those timeless songs which their words are so precise, and hit all the feels every single time.
7. Most embarrassing moment?
I honestly have so many that it's hard to think of just one. I am mostly known for not being able to recognize faces. so it happened to me more than once (or more than 10 times) that a person came up to me and I had no idea who they were. And the other way around (which is way worst) I would go up to someone because I thought I knew them, but it turned out to be a complete stranger... oops.
8. Proudest accomplishment?
I moved to New York on my own when I was 22, and was able to do music. I learned a lot and released my first two songs with the help of friends I met there. I really think that having the guts to change your entire life completely and being happy with the outcome is a huge accomplishment. So I didn't turn out to be a huge pop star overnight, but I had so many little wins, and I'm very proud of it.
9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?
I can stay in my car hours after I parked it and just sing along to the radio. I can have people watching me from outside the car but I don't care. I forget they can actually see through the windows haha
𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?
Ed sheeran. I will die a happy girl if I'll get to harmonize to his songs on his looper. And don't get me started on having a writing session with him.
