Okay, let’s get into the Ten questions for Marsha Marsha Marsha!
𝟭. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆?
Most of my history as a musician is out of San Diego, but I'm currently based out of Fresno CA.
𝟮. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰/𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
I grew up playing music in some way.. My mom was a singer, and was always singing. I started playing trumpet as a kid, and got a bass for my 16th birthday. That same bass was used on my first CD.
I started playing guitar, because when your in a band as a bassist,, people assume you can play guitar too... I couldn't, so I had to learn.
I bought an old Pearl drum set, and I learned how to play drums so that I could record demo's on my 4 Track myself and show the rest of the band a complete song.
𝟯. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀?
I have a really eclectic taste in music... I love old punk music. The Ramones are one of my favorites, but they get their influence from the Beach Boys. I love new music too.. Hauskey has a single out now called Slow that I've had on repeat for weeks. I'm a fan of bands like Bruno Mars, and the Beatles... Dave Grohl can do no wrong... All in all I'm just a fan of music.
𝟰. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰?
I played trumpet as a kid, but no matter how good the song was, playing trumpet was just now so cool.. It wasn't until I turned 16 and got a Bass that I could play a song that I actually listened too. Right away I started playing with some guys from school and we sounded like a real band... At that point, playing music became real.
𝟱. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆?
I'd just like the opportunity to keep making music... Hopefully someone likes it, and hopefully it doesn't suck too much...
𝟲. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲?
Before they closed, I was able to play at CBGB's in New York City. when we pulled up to the club the first time it was surreal. I was a huge Ramones fan growing up and playing there was walking back into history.. the stickers on the wall were 12 inches thick.. it was the greatest club I've ever been in and playing there twice was a dream come true.
𝟳. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴?
Oh Darling by the Beatles
𝟴. 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?
I'm embarrassed every day just walking in a room...
𝟵. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?
I've had some small musical success.. a few records.. but I'm definitely most proud of my family.. nothing I'll ever do will compare
𝟭𝟬. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲?
As a bassist... I would love to play with someone like Bruno Mars.. as a guitarist it would be with the foo fighters, but in the studio I want to work with Rick Rubin. That guy rules

Poor bass players. Playing bass just isn’t enough for people. Fun read and cute puppy :)
Oh Darling is such an un-Mccartney-esque vocal. I believe Lennon was peeved that he wasn't allowed to sing on it (McCartney penned it hence... ), but it's a great song and segues so nicely into Octopus' Garden (Ringo for President).
