Band Members: Eamon Rush (Singer), Dylan Kelly (Guitar), Gabe Gonzalez (Guitar), Henry McGrath (Bass), Brian Duke (Drums)

𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?

We were all raised in New York City. We like to do construction work and walk long distances. We turned the basement of our house into a studio; which is where we have been recording our songs under quarantine.

𝟮. How did your get into music?

A lifelong musician, Eamon formed his first band in elementary school. He met Dylan in middle school detention and discovered that they both liked rock music. They started the basis of Pan Arcadia. In high school they met Henry and taught him how to play bass and guitar. Later were introduced to Gabe "Gonzo" Gonzalez, a school friend of their manager. They played many shows in small venues around New York; meeting Brian along the way. Brian joined the band officially after a show at the Mercury Lounge.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

We are influenced by the New York rock scene of the late 60's and 70's. Bands like The Velvet Underground, Patti Smith, Blondie, Ramones, Talking Heads and Television are all very significant to us. We like how there were so many different sounds coming out of the same scene, and how all the bands played together at clubs like CBGB's. We enjoy performing at shows with other New York bands; the idea of a scene matters a lot to us.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

To restore the live scene in NYC after COVID passes. We put together a charity benefit to provide assistance to venue workers displaced by COVID. The event was called Save the Scene NYC. We would like to keep this movement going into the future.

5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?

There are so many super cool venues in the city. Eamon used to work at Webster Hall before it go bought by AEG; so it would be cool to play there. Although, Madison Square Garden is has to top of the list just for the associations haha.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding. It is so emotive and serene. It was written shortly before Otis died.

7. Most embarrassing moment?

Eamon and Henry were on a basketball team. Eamon was cat fishing a dude who was harassing his friend on social media, and accidentally texted the team coach explicit content.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

The process of building a studio out of a dirt floor basement. Recording music there felt really fulfilling knowing that we made the whole space. Putting the tracks up on Spotify was an accomplishment.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

Gabe was born in Venezuela, his family won a lottery to become American citizens and immigrated to New York city when he was in elementary school. He is proud of his multi-national background, and says it helps shape his worldview.

𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?

Iggy Pop, he's the godfather of punk!
