𝟭. Where are you from and what are your hobbies?
Knoxville Tn and I like creating music videos and other multimedia content. I have home studio where I write record and release almost all of my music.
𝟮. How did your get into music?
I started music by learning the piano and went from there to dj’ing where I learned producing in Ableton live. I now currently use my knowledge in classical piano to record commercial pop music and have slowly started the use my voice as well. My main reason for starting the piano is my grandmother. She developed early onset Alzheimer’s but was a pianist herself so when her health declined one thing that would cheer her up is me playing piano.
𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?
I am into bands such as the 1975 and catfish and the bottlemen. Whereas of recently I grab influence from Khalid, Tyler the creator, and drake
4. What are your goals in the music industry?
I really just enjoy creating music. Right now it is a hobby of mine and I enjoy seeing success. I would love to have enough fans that support me to be able to work on music for a modest living.
5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?
Nashville Tn. I went to Middle Tennessee State University and I loved the area. And would love to perform where my friends can see me
6. What is your all-time favorite song?
If I believe you by the 1975. I love this song because it mixes music and emotions at another level. The lyrics talk of a mental battle where the artist ask if I believe you for god to show himself. This is interesting since the singer is atheist and goes on to struggle why god made him not believe him.
7. Most embarrassing moment?
When publishing my first song I used my name Norris without checking to see if anyone else used it. And ended up publishing my song to a Scandinavian hard rock band. This is embarrassing cause I am a pop artist.
8. Proudest accomplishment?
I think I am really proud of continuing music. I struggle to finish songs so whenever I do finish one I am proud of myself for sticking with it. But what I am the most proud of is I found a wife who loves me so much and has my back throughout this whole music career. Even if the songs aren’t in her favorite genre.
9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?
I once auditioned to be in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby as one of the younger sons to Will Ferrell’s character. But most people wouldn’t know that i didn’t show up to the second interview because we were headed on a beach trip and the audition line was long so I told my parents not to worry about it and I was ready to start our beach trip.
𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?
I think I would be my dream just to work with anyone. The fact someone wants to collaborate with me is amazing enough. But I have listened to a lot of drake in high school so he would be the one if I have to pick.
