𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?

Hello! I think of myself being from a bit all over. I was born in Stockholm, Sweden and lived there with my family until I was six. We then moved across the world to a suburb of Los Angeles, California and stayed there for about two years. After that, we lived in Cleveland, Ohio until I moved out for college. I now reside in Omaha, Nebraska in the United States. My hobby is music production and composing, I also enjoy lifting weights and playing video games.

𝟮. How did your get into music?

I got into music at a young age. My biological father played records growing up, such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones. I did not live with him so whenever I visited I remember hearing old 60s and 70s records. At home, my mom and step father (my dad) would play Bob Marley, Michael Jackson and other 90s hip hop and R&B. I remember that we had a piano and a small synth keyboard that I would play with. Later on in life, I learned the viola during grade school in Cleveland. I played until the 12th grade. I began playing guitar when I was in 7th grade and have been playing ever since (although not as much as I'd like). I began recording my first songs using the Cubase DAW during college, and realized then that that was my passion!

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

My biggest influences - this is a tough one. I really enjoy listening to movie soundtracks. Especially Hans Zimmer and his work on Inception, and the Dark Knight trilogy. I loved how he incorporated synths in those works. I also have influence from classic rock, especially Pink Floyd. I think when I create music, I have a theme in mind, and I tend to want my music to sound cinematic and moody at times.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

My goal is to have a wider reach and to have some fans. I just want people to listen and enjoy what I put out. It is also for my own pleasure, I really love making new music and coming up with new ideas. I think the ultimate goal would be to have some side income generated from the streams, and to eventually reach 1,000+ monthly listeners on Spotify!

5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?

These days I am not performing my music live. I haven't played live since I was in the orchestra in the 12th grade! If I had to choose, I would choose to perform at a small location like a coffee shop first, to get my feet wet.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

I would say my all-time favorite song would have to be Stairway to Heaven. I can always go back to that song and relisten a bunch of times without getting tired of it. And the guitar solo by Jimmy Page is so good!

7. Most embarrassing moment?

My most embarrassing moment would probably be when I drop the ball at work. I hate when this happens, and it happened recently. I don't enjoy the discussion that happens afterwards, it makes me feel like I am a bad person.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

My proudest accomplishment (so far) has been being a part of the NAS community, and seeing all of the growth that's been happening. It's been a great feeling! I am also proud of the fact that I could create 3 albums during 2020 and release them. They all sound a bit different from each other, and I am happy with the fact that I could still create, with the pandemic going on.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

Something that might surprise people - I tried learning French one summer during college using Rosetta Stone, but nothing came of it. I think at the time I wanted to try and impress people at school that I could speak some French haha. I don't think a lot of people close to me know this!

𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?

My dream collaboration would be to create an epic soundtrack with Hans Zimmer. I just love his music and the melodies he comes up with are amazing to me. It would be really cool to just pick his brain and see how he comes up with it all!
