The Faintest Glow is a Pittsburgh-based indie rock band influenced by a wide variety of music, including the garage rock/indie rock revival of the early 2000s, as well as 90s British Alternative. Born out of a 2022 New Year's Resolution from lead singer and guitarist John Stepansky, Michael Jarrett was invited to join the project as lead guitarist which resulted in the band's first EP release: Liquid Gold.

Matt Kizer (bass) and Seth Dillon (drums) joined the band shortly after the release of Liquid Gold to support live performances and future writing/recording efforts. In November 2022. On April 25th, 2023 the band released its first full length EP "Nostalgia Trap". The album focuses on the idea of Nostalgia, the benefits of it and the pitfalls of becoming obsessed with it.

Coming from that album is the band's most recent single "Looking Back". The Faintest Glow can be heard on all streaming platforms and will be playing live shows in the Pittsburgh area throughout 2023.
