1. Tell us a little about where you are from and what you are currently doing.

Iโ€™m from Chicago and Iโ€™m currently working on music to release to help inspire faith, love, and hope.

2. What inspired you to start playing and making music?

I started playing music as a young kid. I grew up in a house filled with music and every weekend, my dad would get his drums out and let me and my brother bang on them. Around 4 or 5 I started taking piano lessons and realized at a young age that there was something very special about music. I went on to learn many Itโ€™s been a part of my entire life.

๐Ÿฏ. Who are your biggest influences?

Black Sabbath, Michael Jackson, Korn, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Architects, TesseracT, Demon Hunter, Thrice,

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

I have high goals but in reality, my goals in the music industry are to provide a unique and creative perspective on common topics like love and hope for the listener. I would also love to make a living writing and playing music.

5. Tell us about your creative process when you make new music.

It really differs for everyone’s situation. Mentality and the environmental ambiance can really bring a song to life during the writing process. Typically an idea might pop in my head and then I will work to transcribe it through piano or guitar. Often it turns out completely different from what I originally imagined but thatโ€™s the beauty of it.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

Itโ€™s hard to pinpoint but if I had to choose, Everlong by the Foo Fighters because of the uniqueness of the lyrics and the overall songwriting.

7. What is the best advice or council you have either given or received in terms of music?

I struggle for years as a young musician to โ€œfind my soundโ€. I was constantly trying to recreate or mimic other artists and it was incredibly frustrating. It wasnโ€™t until I was further along in my journey as a musician and songwriter that I realized itโ€™s the uniqueness of the individual that makes the artist and music what they are. Be yourself just let the music naturally flow.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

My most recent album release of Saved By Fire called โ€œI Am That I Amโ€. This album is incredibly special to me because I feel like I really let down my guard and just wrote whatever I was feeling at the time.

“I feel like I really let down my guard and just wrote whatever I was feeling at the time.”

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

When I was a teenager, my best friend and I would drive around town in his Monte Carlo blasting techno and EDM music. Even though itโ€™s not a style of music that I currently listen to I feel like that time period of my life really influenced the music I write today.

๐Ÿญ0. Tell us about your highest and lowest points in music so far.

My highest point would be the most recent album release from Saved By Fire called โ€œI Am That I Amโ€. My lowest point would have been from 2010 to 2020 when I didnโ€™t write or play any music at all because I was focused on a corporate career.
