This time, we get to know James Holm from Wretched Pinhead Puppets. Their track “Alligator” is featured in the New Artist Spotlight Family of Playlists.
This time, we get to know Water Rise, AKA Arnaud Legrand, a multi-inst
umentalist and rock artist based in France.
“Why Water Rise? I like this name because it has a lot of meaning. – First of all because our planet earth is not in good shape and it’s not going to get any better. I’m worried about the legacy we’ll leave to our children. With all the climate changes we are currently experiencing, it is obvious to me to support this cause. – Then I like the idea of an unstoppable rock band, a bit like water that you can’t stop when it gushes. When I compose, it’s a bit in this state of mind that I find myself, the ideas flow and I can’t stop it.”
The track “Live Your Life” is featured in the New Artist Spotlight Family of Playlists.

They participated in the first-ever NASapalooza with their catchy track, Do That Thing, and have been long-term members of the community. It’s great to get to hear a little more from them finally! The band, composed of Mish – Vocal, Nelson – Guitar/Vocal, Dri – Bass/Vocal, and Norm – Drums/Vocal, have a fun sound with hard rocking and punk flavors. Their latest track, “Dugong Bayani (Heroes Blood)” is featured in the New Artist Spotlight Family of Playlists and hits hard!

This time on NAS 10 Questions we get to know Upwood Avenue. Many of us are already very familiar with the legend that is Ed Corrado, a Canada-based artist who has featured many a “Time” on the NAS Top 20 and is a long-standing member of the community, however, it may have slipped under your radar that he is back now with Upwood Avenue along with Piero Minelli and let me tell you, these “Two Souls” (You see what I’m doing, right?!) are bringing the indie soft rock vibes with clear influences like Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, and The Clash to name but a few. They have also re-released the above-mentioned classics, so be sure to add them to your rotation.
