𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 – this week: Hung Me Out To Dry – Forever Forever

Written by

Connolly’s Corner

Welcome all to 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿, a series of weekly reviews by Charles Connolly – an artist in his own right. Here, Charles delves into the greatest brand new singles brought to you by the best unsigned artists on our electrifying and eclectic set of 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 playlists.

𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙚 𝙊𝙪𝙩 𝙏𝙤 𝘿𝙧𝙮 – 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧

Charles won’t leave you hanging…

Do you ever get that feeling when you’re so totally alone? I don’t mean being lonely. I don’t even mean some sort of fear of isolation. I just mean when you see and hear everything around you, but it feels like no one else is speaking the same language… Does that seem familiar to you? Or how about when nothing specific has happened, but you feel abandoned, or even spat upon? Do you ever get that feeling? It could be personal; it could be very distant, yet still affecting. Sometimes I think about my country and my government, and they don’t seem to mesh. Sometimes I think about my health service that doesn’t work. Sometimes I think about my work and how previously good clients have shown a darker side in more recent times. Sometimes I think about my landlord and my neighbours refusing to do the right thing. Sometimes I think about the artists I have reviewed, refusing to do the right thing. And sometimes, I just think.

To an extent, I feel abandoned. I feel a lack of support. I don’t mean literal mental health support, and I don’t mean shallow “I love your articles even though I don’t read them” kind of support. I also don’t mean even more literal support in the form of crutches. I mean something much deeper than that. People seem to be a lot more selfish these days. People simply don’t care. Of course, I am not talking about literally EVERYone, but a great deal of people. Most people. Of course, there has always been an element of this – one must always put oneself first. But after that, there simply needs to be a modicum of care for others; and it must be genuine. To put it bluntly, I feel like they’ve hung me out to dry. Those unfamiliar with the phrase, it means to be left, abandoned, unsupported and flailing in the wind. It has nothing to do with me being sodden or even moist. But it does leave me clammy, I must admit. It’s unsettling, and it leaves me feeling a tad numb.

Music, however, is the thing that keeps me going. Music that I KNOW was created by humans. Music that excites and takes me over. Music I can feel. Music where I can hear the hard work and love that has gone into making it. I can hear the journey. I can hear layer upon layer of unforeseen magic. I can hear the inspiration, but I can also hear the spark of originality. But what of my own music? Let’s just say I have been in a little bit of a rut lately. But I do hope to get out of it soon; I’ve been getting that tingle. That itch. And itches need scratching. As to this rut, though… Why…? I have wondered this a little, and I think it is due to the feeling of “why bother”, brought on by fake artists making fake songs, and generally general fakeness in general. The fake care, love and support just screams “I don’t give a damn!”. And I see this in my government, my national health service, my police force, my landlord, my neighbours, some clients and even some people who I used to think of as friends. Some might instantly suggest “Why don’t you use this feeling and turn it into song?”… It’s a good suggestion! But the main reason is because I don’t want to keep writing about things that are shit and depressing. Where’s my ‘Europe in the Summertime’? Where are my smooshy love songs? Where’s my ‘Parakeet’?? These are songs of mine, for those who have no idea what I’m on about. I don’t really want to write about rebellion or cruddy times.

Due to fake songs by fake artists, it is becoming increasingly difficult to choose songs to review. Whether you’re for or against machine-made music (or indifferent), imagine it from my perspective. I am REVIEWING it. If I know a certain song is fake, but it’s still really rather good, what am I to say about it? My weekly reviews are all about praising (who I see as) the best of the best. I often go into great detail in the arrangement in terms of instruments, lyrics, sounds, rhythms, chord changes, tone, mixing, and general talent (in general). I try to portray the energy, feeling or emotion that the artist has managed to “put down on tape”. Imagine if it is all simply made by a machine, and all the “artist” has done is press one button once… Or maybe they have written the lyrics…? The thing is, I won’t ever know because they never own up to things in the credits. I have even started to see people INVENT credits!!! Literally making up names in order to deceive and pretend that actual people were involved. It is sick. Ach… There’s that rut again. It’s quite deep, ya see. So, THIS is why I am so utterly against generative machine-made music. I have nothing to review. What happened today, though, was that I nearly chose a song that I thought was brilliant!! I started my research, and realised that it was fakery. So, if I hadn’t realised, I would have inadvertently lied in public and praised them to the sky, when there was in fact no one to praise. I would have been duped, and I would look like a fool for having been sucked in by a lie. Where’s your trust NOW…?

Having said earlier that I don’t particularly want to write depressing songs or songs that exude that numb feeling, there is definitely a place for such songs, and they should exist. They’re important. And I must say, I do like them. Not so much the depressing (I have actively gone off that vibe – here’s looking at you, Radiohead), but the honest feeling and emotion that comes from more serious songs is like nothing else. There’s something kinda cool about them. Please welcome once reviewed London quartet, Forever Forever with their debut EP, ‘Good Light In’! That’s right, folks; it ain’t all heartache and heartbreak. There’s optimism here! In fact, each of the songs from the generous 6-track EP gives a whole host of emotions. But let’s focus on just one: ’Hung Me Out To Dry’ (the final track). The song is performed by the band, but written by the band’s main man, Fionn Connolly (great name), and co-produced by Fionn Connolly and Jasper Trim (such great names!). The EP opens with ’Skip Intro’ (a gorgeously brave title). It’s a smattering of this final track, all cut up and played with, making tracks 1 and 6 bookends for the tracks within. A beautiful touch, very much framing this record as an EP, and not just a collection of songs. ‘Hung Me Out To Dry’ is partly an outro, but it is more of an epic finale. And I must apologise for starting at the end, but we know you’re all going to be listening to the whole EP anyway (no, you’re not – but I can only do my bit in trying).

We open with something that sounds a little like a piano, but also like a soft synth. It’s actually almost like a piano with the attack cut off. It’s sleepy, like one of those apps designed to get you to dreamland as quickly as possible. A soft bass synth pads its way like a tired teddy’s paws. The stars are out tonight, and the moths are nocturnally wired for sound, fidgeting in their usual way with even the slightest presence of light; but that’s none of your business right now. 28 seconds later, we are greeted by Fionn’s voice; full, rich and warm. If you listen closely, you will hear the subtlest harmonies. I suspect this to be artificial harmonies of the original voice in order to add thickness and a certain cosy cushion. This is just one of SO many details that most artists wouldn’t have even thought of doing (if they’d even know how to). The brief vocal pause between verses one and two starts to glitch out in the most pleasingly subtle way, to the extent that it is now starting to be difficult to follow one specific instrument. The flow is seamless. Bon Iver uses this technique to great effect, and so does Coldplay in their more ethereal interludes. Fionn’s voice is very real; very natural. I hear notes of Rufus Wainwright (but far less whiny), and strangely there’s a bit of Robbie Williams (especially in the lower notes). But already in the time it’s taken to write that sentence, we have claps and soft kicks, guitars imitating pizzicato strings, and effects galore; it’s music recorded in CinemaScope!

At 1:20, Papa Bear has awoken from his slumber, and now we get the REAL bass. The sky sizzles and shimmers with a crisp softness. The full band’s voices come to the fore, and we finally get what we all wanted. A most satisfying chorus of whipped cream and sprinkles! These incredible harmonies are something the band is known for. But couple this with the layers of sound, and we end up with what I can only describe as a modern Beach Boys. Not meaning Forever Forever sounds ANYTHING like The Beach Boys – lord no. But Brian Wilson was a chemist of sound and invention, with the lushness of those inimitable Beach Boys harmonies. This conscious coupling is the similarity. So, if this chorus is anything to go by, ‘Hung Me Out To Dry’ really isn’t sounding like a cold, sad song… And that’s because – despite the title – it isn’t. Not really, anyway. There is such optimism in sound, and yet there are lines like “You hung me out to dry; I didn’t mind”… Ambiguous, no? It’s so curious and interesting – yet another thing I love about songs that go further and deeper. Forever Forever is/are fabulous at this perfect blend of mainstream pop and “that indie sound”. It just works; satisfying both the casual and the eager listener.

At 3:49, there is an abrupt stop. I said a couple of weeks ago how this has become quite a popular thing in music lately… BUT!! It ain’t the end. Do you remember that annoying thing that annoying school mates used to do? To push you then quickly pull you back again, saying “saved yer life”…? Well this is that, but rather more classily done. Forever Forever stops your heart, only to unleash their trusty defibrillator. It’s more like a shock, followed by lashings of treats! The compression and saturation goes up several notches (not too shy of 11). The drums power through like there’s no tomorrow. Papa Bear finds his groove (he’s now had his porridge). The guitars do their best impression of that weird (and wonderful) first Foals album, plucking like chickens when they realise someone’s left their cage open. And those HORNS!!! No, I’m not kidding. What started as a relatively soft song (with strong feeling) has ended with a big, fat horn section! The whole thing is almost like a dubstep vibe, but with real instruments. Absolutely thri-hi-HILLING!!! And finally the band winds down in true live rock style: boo-boo-BAH!! You wouldn’t believe what this kind of music does to me. I should hope it does similar things to you.

I urge you to listen to the whole ‘Good Light In’ EP. It’s truly top drawer stuff.

As to that “why bother” thing, there are two reasons why you should bother and keep going with the music. One, for your own wonderful satisfaction: “Look what I’ve achieved”. Two, while you might not quite have as many fans as Taylor Swift, you will still have fans. Even if just ten people enjoy your music, it’s worth it. God, in my first twenty years of making music, I was pretty much the only listener. I was my biggest fan! And even THAT was worth it. So, don’t give up, look on the bright side, and MAKE REAL MUSIC!!! Where’s the blood, sweat and tears in pushing a button…?

Must dash. Mama Bear needs help with the washing: “Hang it out to dry”. You all know my reply.

Real music still rules. Music that is completely created AI is not real music, and there is no argument that can refute that. Let’s see those AI songs performed live! Anyway, this is a great song because it’s the real deal!

No te agüites, Charles, ¡échale ganas! Charles, I find myself wondering lately, “Why are people so awful to each other?” So yes, I relate very much to this week’s review. Now onto the music. This gives me latter day Queen vibes compositionally. The production is top-notch! Wow! Lovely details. This song will quickly become a favourite. And that ending is powerful. Holy smokes! It’s the sound of real people, real inspiration and real talent all coming together to…well, make real music. Imagine that…? 😉

Man does this song give me that sweet 80’s sound! 👍 Tight production, instrumentation and the harmonies are fantastic! Just like your own music Mr. CC, there are so many artists and songs that out a smile on your face and make it so easy to start it over. Loved the changeup towards the end of this track too! Congrats FOREVER FOREVER! 👏

Love the last paragraph. I went to a gallery in France recently and there were some really punchy photographs that caught my eye, but something was just a little off. When I asked the gallery owner for more information about the photographers they begrungingly divulged that they were actually ‘prompt directors’ not photographers. I am convinced that give it a few years (actually probably months!) and I probably won’t be able to tell the difference. But….. once I know I have no interest. My interest evaporates as it’s simply not real. And this feeling holds just as true for music for me, no matter how good it actualy becomes. Don’t go changing Charles!!! Firing up the track now! 😎

Forever Forever’s ‘Hung Me Out To Dry’ is the musical equivalent of a warm hug after being ghosted—bittersweet, layered, and somehow still leaving you hopeful. Also, that abrupt stop-and-go ending? Pure evil genius.

I’m sure there’s a mutlitude of us who really look forward to reading your reviews, so that and the glowing feedback that your music deservedly gets should hopefully outweigh any negative stuff you feel. With regards the track, I agree the vocal harmony layers are a touch of class, but what I really like about the track is the outro with its big sound and slight crazyness. It’s a real “let it all out” moment.

Great review as always and yeah I feel you on the fakery . It’s one of the reasons why on our band bio there’s now a statement saying that no AI was used in the creation of the music. We did use AI for much of the album art although we’ve stopped that (the current single is a picture of my daughter and I at a restaurant, ran through a filter ).

Very much agree on the increased feeling of isolation. And I fear AI (HAL) is accelerating that, not just with the music being created by it, but by the cheery helpers such as Siri and Grok which replace the previous organic communications we might have had. Strange times…

The fakeness of so much music these days is SOOO depressing. Being one of those who spends weeks, sometimes months (or even years in the case of one song) creating their music, often with only mediocre results in a strange genre which is not pop, I abhor the out and out full on cheating. What makes it worse is when the so called writers readily accept ALL the praise and glory for their supposed masterpieces instead of admitting the truth from the start … Perhaps they don’t miss that feeling of HAVING to create and HAVING to keep on with the creation until the project is finally finished…. Maybe they’ve NEVER felt this in the first place ……. Love your… Show More

Unfortunately, I still struggle with creative breaks from time to time. But by now, I don’t worry about it anymore. It usually just takes a small spark to get things going again — whether it’s browsing through presets, stumbling upon a little melody, or hearing a background tune while watching TV. Sometimes an idea even pops up while walking or driving. There are just so many things that can reignite creative input, it’s really counterproductive to stress about being in a pause at all 😅

I can’t believe how many fake songs you seem to come across in NAS. That is depressing. Speaking of depressing, MPB loves to do that thing. (Thanks for the inspiration, Radiohead). Working on a collaboration with another NAS member right now. My lyrics are all hopelessness … and for a change, the collaborator’s lyrics are the uplifting. Music has been moving slower for me in 2025, probably for similar reasons as you. Keep painting even if the pictures don’t look right.

To start, yes, I do know how it feels to be alone, abandoned. I fight against it most days. It’s horrible. It’s quite debilitating, at times. But, we press on, not surely knowing what step we will have to take tomorrow, but I digress. This song has beautiful harmony and I don’t believe you were wrong in mentioning Brian Wilson because I could swear it was him going up to some of the higher ranges. Feelings… that’s what really sets this song apart is feelings. It’s in the lyrics, it’s in the melody. I really liked this song for it’s not your every day, same old music, but it comes alive. Great job, Forever Forever, and a great review, Charles.

Funny reading all these complaints about music “fakery” – many coming from people who stream playlists for hours at night while they are sleeping. And then they complain how little Spotify pays for those racked-up streams, or that their tracks are taken down for artificial streaming. Fake artists – OK, I get that. But then fake audience as well. Stones in glasshouses, anyone? For disclosure: I am not a musician – human or otherwise – but a freelance journalist who sometimes writes about music and technology. That’s how New Artist Spotlight has come to my attention (I am not a member).

Hmm, I hate to be the contrarian among most of the comments here (please don’t cancel me… ), but maybe we should think about AI-music differently. Here’s why: It seems we may be coming to a point where the distinction between “human-made = good” vs. “AI-made = horrible” becomes meaningless, and perhaps untenable. There is enough human-made music that is, frankly, maybe not so great (sorry, but it’s true…). And, as Charles implies, there now seems to be AI-music that is actually quite good – or at least impressive enough that he almost, accidentally, reviewed it. Isn’t this weird? So many people say that AI-music is only shallow and derivative, and that it does not do what “real” music should… Show More

What? People are inventing credits? Making up human names in lieu of simply attributing HAL his recognition? Is this the Twilight Zone? London quartet FOREVER FOREVER on the other hand, are separate folk of real flesh. Connolly presents that their tune HUNG ME OUT TO DRY is comprised of human created soft synth n bass, Fionn’s warm vocals & and a seamless flow of claps, kicks, tricksy guitar and stops. Thanks for the tip. And now I must take heed, get creative and tend to the needs of KTO’s less-than-ten fans. 🤓

Very interesting analysis of a structurally compelling song that transforms from a lovely blissful tune to an energetic display of musicianship! And, yes, it’s getting increasingly difficult to discern truth from fiction. Regardless of your opinions on Ai content – you have to admit it’s somewhat insulting to not only present that stuff to the world as something you personally wrote & performed … but to go so far as to concoct images of imaginary “band members” in an attempt to fortify that misrepresentation? Great review, Charles. I share your sentiments regarding the state of the world, which indeed appears to be heading down a troubling path. Think back to 2012, during the Olympics, people seemed genuinely happy and enthusiastic about life and the games. There was a palpable sense of optimism and joy everywhere. In stark contrast, today’s atmosphere feels markedly different and, regrettably, much of it seems to centre around hate. I believe a significant part of the issue stems from our divisive leaders. The prevailing narrative suggests that if we collectively direct our dislike towards another group, our own lives will somehow improve. This rhetoric is particularly persuasive to those who are suffering (or stupid!), making them susceptible to such messages. Similarly, I, like you, am troubled by the negative aspects of HAL, especially within creative communities. It is disappointing that NAS permits individuals who use AI to create tracks to participate in this space. I had assumed this was a community for genuine “artists,” rather than prompt writers. I don’t care if they “write the lyrics”, writing lyrics alone does not constitute songwriting; lyrics without accompanying music are simply poetry. Writing lyrics does not a song make! This week’s track is an excellent choice. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing actual musicians perform and hearing the craft involved in producing such an excellent track. I am eager to listen to the entire EP. I wish Forever Forever every success with their impressive new EP. PS: Perhaps you need another vacation. Your last holiday cheered you right up 😁. Show Less

I love your articles even though I don’t read them. —- I’ve mentioned this before, but without a story behind it, art is (to me) meaningless. At least while even just the illusion of a story is kept alive then the art still has a pulse. But should the curtain be pulled back and I find out that there’s no story behind it, that it’s little more than digital gravedigging, prompted machine output; scraped, thieved and compiled from the ideas of others, then that kills the art stone dead and therefore, in my opinion, has no reason to exist. —- A singing teacher once told one of my friends that singing is the same as speaking, which came to mind during listening to this… Show More

I consider you a friend and I wish we could have another beer and a chinwag like we did that one time in that one pub in London. I know it sucks when relationships change over time and people don’t turn out to be who you expected them to be. The act of creating, of writing songs and performing will always stand us humans apart from the machines. An act of rebellion really in this age that is fast upon us. Keep going, Charles! Always enjoy your reviews and the sparks of discovery with every single read. Great song too! Love Hubris Debris’ response…quirky but charming indeed.

Fully anti-AI in music. Love your description of the build up of the song. I read it before listening, and I feel like you narrated it flawlessly. I get absolutely LOST in the vocal harmonies after 1:20. The outro with the horns was quirky but charming, like watching Zoey Deschanel act. Loved every ounce of this song, and your review.

One must verily appreciate the constant fight from Connolly against machine made music and for the most part ,this is a fight for us all, real artiste. The passion is in those words, over and over again and we must all fight this.. But at least we know there are a few who still strive to do the work amd make real music.. Those who go the length of making a whole Ep to this effect. Thank you for your gifts

Right now, I have only read the first paragraph and two more sentences. You are describing how I feel every day. Hence my last two singles (the newest you worked on). Abandoned, oddly, yes. Yesterday was my birthday and I truly never felt so alone. Ok.. back to reading. Ok… Third paragraph. I would like to say music is keeping me going, but I am finding myself falling into a slump where even grabbing my guitar brings me no joy. Like I said in the song ‘I screamed, but silence roared much louder’. It feels like nothing I do matters and falls on deaf ears. Ok.. Back to the reading. You know? I’m not a fan of fake, earlier. You and I sort had this conversation when we were worked together. You saw my process in Logic. When I hear music that I know for fact is AI (not real people singing and playing most of the instruments, or in the very least programming the drums (for instance)), I don’t know how to feel. I work hard. Multiple takes. and to have someone get a ‘better’ result from typing a prompt that is ‘their’s’ because they paid $20? I don’t know how to feel. How can I collab with that? Replay the part that was already ‘played’ better than I can do it? It is very disheartening. Anyway, rant over. I do like the song very much. I do like the tie ins for realism. Show Less

The world and life is shit, always was and always will be but with little flashes of joy. Music is one of those thing that brings joy, songs for me come when they want to somtimes they just appear other times nothing. nothing for months. Technology has really fucked with us, theres a crisis of lonliness as we are all now hooked on our machines, alone just you and your littel a friend… Anyway craking song and a great revew as ususal. Its a highlight of my week reading your reviews Charles. Keep them going, my friend Hal like the too..🤣

Gotta say that the cover artwork is a nice touch of humans making well designed packaging. Fits the theme.

I have always felt this way to an extent, detachment and disassociation. Not like me acting those ways, but feeling those things around me in life, in general. It has exponentially gotten worse in the last 25 years, with the last 5 years just having it all skyrocket completely! Music is also the one thing that has always gotten me back to neutral, grounded me, made me feel sane again or what have you. It is always there, a constant crutch to get through whatever emotions you are experiencing that need some sort of mending. Music is phenomenal. All sorts of music. Even some fake music I don’t mind, even though I prefer non-fake music, but whatever. It is what it is. Forever Forever have made a fabulous EP and I highly enjoyed it. Another fine example of all the lure talent we have within New Artist Spotlight. Thanks for reviewing all the artists you have, hope you keep sharing your reviews with us and just to slightly sum up most of the feelings you expressed in this article, just embrace the sophistication of the almighty Corey Taylor, ” People=Shit “. Cheers CC! Show Less

I feel that this dissonance with the world is permeating contemporary society. The paradox is that I think we are doing well, at least here in Europe. There are people who benefit from it and are attracted to simple solutions. It offers to turn autumn into spring. At the same time, autumn also offers a lot of beauty.

Great reading as always Charles and I am now looking forward to listening to this EP on my way to and from Tesco!☺️ I do believe I am my only real fan (the other two were my parents!) But I am quite happy with that…But like you say it is so worth it… The joy and excitement I get when new music arrives and then all comes together is like nothing else! Got to keep going for yourself!! I am actually quite excited about my boring trip to Tesco now!! 😂

HAL has become better and better at creating lifelike things, the old saying “I only trust what I see” and “I know it’s true because I have a photo of it”… If you can’t trust anything and/or anyone because of AI, where is society headed…? How do you handle college degrees?, how do you handle court decisions, Can you trust that it’s really the bank you’re dealing with when you pay bills via online banking? That it’s really a work colleague calling and asking you for a favor? how do you ensure that you don’t get scammed online? The simple answer is…you can’t (at least up to now it has been doable) As a Gen Xer who actually learned to play an instrument, I will of course continue to play, because I find it fun and relaxing, doing something different from what I do daily at work. But I feel that the fight against AI generated music is hopeless. You will never make money from streams from Spotify as a hobby musician, especially not now that Spotify themselves create AI music and AI mixes from other people’s songs… The only thing you can hope for is that there will be a backlash and that people will start to get bored of listening to automated music. I read somewhere that more and more people have stopped listening to the music, it’s just some background noise, no wonder if it’s just soulless elevator music that sounds almost the same as what flows out of HAL… Show Less

You evoke feelings that are sometimes in all of us. I am contemplating leaving a workplace that I loved, but the new management… it’s losing its soul. Making me valued for fringe things that I am willing to do that others won’t, rather than what the actual job entails. Used is one word for it. Humoured is another.

I really like this song. Artists believe that you have to do complicated things to be liked. This song proves that beautiful sound, beautiful lyrics, and an effective arrangement surpass complicated music.

I feel this so much Charles I hate the idea that I could be unknowingly supporting AI generated music whenever I’m listening to Spotify etc now it stresses me out! I want to support real, raw and authentic music and I think completely AI generated songs should be banned from all platforms but that’s just my opinion! Great review and song choice I love that ending very unexpected but epic sounding!

Fantastic song and EP that is ambiguous and bittersweet, a bit like life. People and reality not being quite what they seem is one of the disappointments of life and unfortunately AI just supercharges this. Worst of if all, it sullies genuine creativity and casts a shadow of doubt over all art. This, unfortunately, is the new normal.

Great description. Bloody brilliant! From its sleepy start to that insane horn section at the end, it’s the kind of track that reminds me why I even bother listening to new music—pure sonic joy!

This is a ballad with excellent sound and choruses, and I also think that the dynamic changes almost at the end of the song are great, because I didn’t expect them like that… and they are appreciated and valued

What a remarkable release from Forever Forever! Seriously!! This EP is very good. Favourite song, “Skip Intro”. No, no, the whole thing, honestly. I can see why you may have selected “Hung Me Out to Dry”, being the last song too, one should listen to the whole EP as this song was an excellent closer. I must insist on saying again but with a bit more revealing certainty, I absolutely loved this release!

The problem is not confined to one country… The whole World is screwed, the ones who are supposed to look after their own people are crushing them until there is nothing else to be squeezed out, and to be honest we are all drying out long before we are left hung out to dry…. Extraordinary song!
