Band Members: Lukas – Vocals, Aled – Guitar, Matt – Guitar, Owain – Bass, Rhys – Drums

𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?

Swansea, South Wales. We enjoy a variety of things from golf to surfing, football to cooking and a lot of craft beers

𝟮. How did your get into music?

I think for most of us it was just a case of always enjoying listening to music and naturallly gravitating towards guitar, other than Rhys obviously. I personally (Owain) never thought I would be in a band having picked up an instrument a lot later then the others at 17 but after finishing school and college it’s all I’ve wanted to do.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

We all have very differing tastes in music, I would say my biggest influence on the bass is a toss up between Sting and John Taylor of Duran Duran. Lukas is heavily influenced by Biffy Clyro. Aled idolises guitar heroes like Randy Rhodes and Adrian Smith. Matt takes his tones and playing from a mixture of Johnny Marr and modern post punk bands like Fontaines and Idles. Finally, Rhys takes his playing from the world of jazz mixed with the modern acrobatics and feel of Yussef Dayes.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

I think I speak for all of us when I say we want nothing more than to be paid to make the music we love.

5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?

Glastonbury has a special place in most people’s hearts, it’s the poster boy festival with shit weather, great bands and lots and lots mud.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

Wicked Game – Chris Isaak, just an incredibly simple but effective song

7. Most embarrassing moment?

I’m not even going to throw this to the rest of the group… We were playing a gig in Sin City, it was my turn to sing backing vocals on a cover we were doing of Gimme Gimme Gimme by ABBA, well needless to say I stepped up to the mic and sounded more like Courage the Cowardly Dog than Bjorn.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

The proudest accomplishment is also the best night I’ve had in this band and the greatest feeling, we won the Swansea Uni battle of the bands. Just to have a room full of people jumping up and down when our name was announced as victors will stay in my mind forever.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

All avid golfers, we average below par on most golf courses in the area with a couple of us even having the option to go pro, choosing to focus on music instead.

𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?

I’d have to say the Wiggles, they were a huge influence on us from a young age…a very young age.
