1. Tell us a little about where you are from.
I am from Dehradun, India. Currently a software engineer and electronic music producer. Trying to make music potions.
2. What inspired N!SE to start playing and making music?
I started listening to EDM music at a very young age and what inspired me was the thought like it’s so beautiful and cool how the electronic music songs gave me the goosebumps I get while listening to the music. So I thought I want to create something like the music I listened to and yes just the thought, the feeling turned into passion and since then I try to make music.

3. Who are N!SE’s biggest musical influences?
My biggest musical influences are a lot of artists, not a single one as I have listened from Martin Garrix, David Guetta to The Weekend, Taylor Swift and what not, but personally Avicci, Martin Garrix , The Chainsmokers and Porter Robinson are some that I admire the most. And my genre is based on these artists only.

4. What are your goals in the music industry or as an artist?
My goal is to make music that can make someone cry, not in a bad way. I just want my music to have emotions and i don’t plan to make music for money so in case I am being asked this question for monetary stuff I don’t care much about it.
5. Tell us about your creative process.
I think about nothing. I just feel the sounds that I have on my PC when I make music and somehow it all comes into place. I don’t have a knowledge of music theory and I also don’t know how to properly use my DAW but still I make decent music and I am working on my flaws.

6. What is your all-time favorite song by another artist and why?
My all time favourite song by an artist is Shelter by Porter Robinson. The song is very beautifully created and I don’t have words why I like it because as I said for me music is just like an emotion so I just feel the music.

7. What is the best advice you have either given or received in terms of music?
I am a new artist and I don’t have that much experience in the industry so I would say right now I don’t have any advice I got or I have given. The reason is because I produce alone, learning from different channels.
8. What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment was being able to create electronic music from scratch, because it was very difficult as I did not have any experience … no knowledge of music theory, but still I created a good song.
9. What’s been your most embarrassing moment so far?
There was a time when I was messaging random playlist curators to add my song on their playlists and there was a curator who told me I am copying and pasting other’s music and I should make my own music. He was right though, because I was learning and I used other artists’ style and created something my own but I just changed the melody and chords and the rest of everything was the same so it was very embarrassing that someone told me that. But I was learning at that time so I appreciated his advice and thanks to that now I can create my own music from scratch.
10. Tell us about your lowest and highest points in music so far.
I am from India and here the support for electronic artists is almost none because here Indian music and only famous songs are popular, unlike the genre or my style of music which is more popular in countries like the US and Germany. Until now I did not have a highest point in music and I am still struggling. Once I make it, I might say I have my highest point, because I think this is my lowest point where I am right now.
