This time, we get to know Velvet Blitz, a Filipino-Canadian band that we have seen and heard on NAS for a while now. They participated in the first-ever NASapalooza with their catchy track, Do That Thing, and have been long-term members of the community. It’s great to get to hear a little more from them finally! The band, composed of Mish – Vocal, Nelson – Guitar/Vocal, Dri – Bass/Vocal, and Norm – Drums/Vocal, have a fun sound with hard rocking and punk flavors. Their latest track, “Dugong Bayani (Heroes Blood)” is featured in the New Artist Spotlight Family of Playlists and hits hard!

This time on NAS 10 Questions we get to know Upwood Avenue. Many of us are already very familiar with the legend that is Ed Corrado, a Canada-based artist who has featured many a “Time” on the NAS Top 20 and is a long-standing member of the community, however, it may have slipped under your radar that he is back now with Upwood Avenue along with Piero Minelli and let me tell you, these “Two Souls” (You see what I’m doing, right?!) are bringing the indie soft rock vibes with clear influences like Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, and The Clash to name but a few. They have also re-released the above-mentioned classics, so be sure to add them to your rotation.
This time on The NAS 10 Questions, we get to know Underealm,a four piece metal band based in Porto, Portugal consisting of Gonçalo Figueiredo – vocals, Norberto Ribeiro – guitars, Nuno Silva – bass, and Bruno Cunha – drums. Influences include Megadeth, Evergrey, Slayer, Jinjer, Architects, and Children of Bodom to name a few.

Trav Da Poet conveys messages of hope, inspiration, guidance, and social consciousness. This poetic emcee emphasizes the human struggle to highlight Christ’s power to save over various styles of music.
